Our booking enquiry form asks for:
Please don’t include health information, dietary requirements or anything else sensitive about your child in the message box. If we need that to run the party safely, we will ask you separately and store it appropriately.
We only ask for what we need to check availability and quote accurately. The number of children is a count, not information about identifiable children.
If you phone, email, text or message us through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, we keep the content of those messages and your contact details so we can reply and keep track of your booking.
Our web host records standard technical information in server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time. This happens on every website and is used for security and to diagnose faults.
If you agree to analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use the site. See section 7.
Our gallery contains photographs and video from past parties, many of which show children.
[OPTION A — use this if you have consent on file] We only publish images where the parent or guardian has given us permission. If you would like an image of your child removed, email info@kidsnkarts.co.uk and we will take it down promptly. You do not need to give a reason.
[OPTION B — use this if you do not yet have consent on file] These images are published with the permission of the families involved. If you are a parent or guardian and would like an image of your child removed, email info@kidsnkarts.co.uk and we will remove it promptly. You do not need to give a reason.
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are:

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether it is fair to you. If you disagree, you can object — see section 6.

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are essential; the rest are optional and are only set if you agree. When you first arrive you will see a banner asking what you are happy with — nothing optional is switched on before you choose.
These are needed for the site to work, so they do not require your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
knk_consent | Remembers your cookie choices so we do not keep asking | 12 months |
| Fluent Forms session | Prevents duplicate submissions and protects against spam | Session |
| SiteGround performance and security | Caching and site protection | Session to 1 year |
wordpress_*, wp-settings-* | Only set if you log in to manage the site | Session to 1 year |
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site: which pages are popular, which devices people use, and where visitors come from. These cookies are only set if you accept them. If you decline, Google Analytics is blocked and writes nothing to your device.
| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Maintains session state | 2 years |
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, Google provides a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our gallery includes videos hosted by YouTube and Vimeo. These providers set their own cookies and can collect information about you even if you do not press play, so we do not load them until you agree. Where we can, we use YouTube’s no-cookie player.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer. Withdrawing consent also deletes any analytics cookies already set.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings too, though this may affect how the site works.
Our parties are for children, but our website and booking process are aimed at parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at info@kidsnkarts.co.uk and we will delete it. For photographs of children, see section 2.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site, access controls on our website administration, and keeping software up to date.
No website can be completely secure, but we take this seriously and will notify you and the ICO if a breach is likely to put you at risk.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
Needed for the site to work — remembering your cookie choice, keeping the booking form secure. These do not track you.
Google Analytics, so we can see which pages people find useful. Never used to advertise to you.
